If you have a phone from a brand of which most people’ve never heard, you probably won’t get a lot in the way of software updates. It’s because of THIS expectation that some small brands have grown at HIGH SPEED. Small brands that surprise their early patrons with good software support often find themselves in possession of long-lasting brand loyalists.
Updates are a good thing. Apple is best at it. If your phone doesn’t get updates, get a different phone.
